Spotahome's opinion
This is a big, bright, peaceful and modern studio apartment, available to rent in Seestadt (Laketown in English) in the Aspern area. The spacious 36 m² studio is completely contemporary, and has big windows allowing in plenty of light. There is a small, but well equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher and a breakfast bar. In the living area there is a big double bed, a comfortable sofa, storage space and a desk. There are patio doors here which lead to the roomy balcony.
Seestadt is a recently built area of the city, comprised mostly of residential buildings, although there are shops in the base of several, including a grocery store and a couple of restaurants. The U-bahn line U2 serves the area, so central Vienna is just a short journey away, and there is parking available with the apartment. Next to the lake is a large, grassy park.
What we liked the most
- We love the spacious balcony, with plenty of room to sit and enjoy a meal at the table on a warm summer evening.
- The wide entrance corridor has plenty of room to store things (vacuum cleaner, bicycle, etc) so that they don't clutter up the main room.
- As it is mostly residential this will be a very peaceful area in which to live.
- There are a cafe and 2 restaurants in the area, all very popular!

- Heating and hot water are provided by "district heating" (fernwärme).
