It would be hard not to. History, culture, and fun in every direction. You’ll find restaurants and bars galore, the grandest plaza (Mayor), and an atmosphere that’s unrivalled. Few cities have the energy of Madrid. Can you keep up?
Or more to the point, can you stay up? As Hemingway said, “Appointments with a friend are habitually made for after midnight at the cafe”. It might not quite be Hemingway’s Madrid, but it sure is a good time.

Anything else? You pay for a location this good, and apartments tend to be on the cosy side. But who needs space when Madrid is your backyard?
And did you know?… Just a short stroll from Plaza del Sol, you’ll find the oldest restaurant in the world. Sobrino de Botin opened in 1725, and back then guests had to bring their own ingredients. The restaurant has stayed true to its culinary roots (although today you can leave your onions at home) and serves the classics, including a whole suckling pig prepared in a brick oven.

Getting to and from the airport... You can take a taxi from Madrid Barajas International Airport. It will cost you roughly €30 and takes about 25 minutes.
