This cool studio apartment to rent on Place de Capucins is on the 2nd floor. The decor is ultra-modern, but the studio is very comfortable. Although it’s open-concept, there are three distinct spaces. The first is obvious enough: the bathroom. The study feels separate because it is in a nook. It’s a terrific spot if you work from home. The equipped kitchen, living room and bedroom comprise the third space. In addition, there is a common area laundry room in the building.
It’s impossible not to feel a little infatuated with Croix-Rousse. Both the Saône and the Rhône rivers are on either side. There is a wonderful café culture just around the corner. And with theaters and jazz clubs nearby, you can indulge in the night life, as well. You’ll find gourmet and specialty grocery stores, along with traditional supermarkets. The Lyon Museum of Fine Arts is a 5-minute walk away and the Lyon National Opera is just east of your new home.
What we liked the most
- You don’t have French balconies, but the big windows feel like you do!
- The view overlooks a little café, which adds a bit of atmosphere.
- The building has a common laundry room.
- It’s just a really fantastic studio with a great decor.
