This one-bedroom, one-bathroom interior apartment is located on Calle Duque de Alba in the Lavapiés neighborhood in the center of Madrid. The apartment has a fantastic location in Lavapiés that’s also within walking distance of La Latina, home of the famous El Rastro market on Sunday mornings full of tapas bars. It’s also a six-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor and a nine-minute walk to Puerta del Sol, the geographic center of Madrid and of Spain. The bedroom is equipped with a plush double bed, and has a colorful lime green wall, adding just a dash of color. The kitchen and living room are part of an open concept plan. The area of the apartment is 60 m2.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, great for the hot summers of Madrid.
- The rental price includes the cost of utilities, perfect if you are someone on a budget.
- Wi-Fi is already installed and activated!
- The kitchen is fully equipped and has any amenity one would need in order to create a delicious meal.
Things to keep in mind
- The building is not equipped with an elevator.
- Although the flat is pet-friendly, there is an extra charge of 20€ per night for the pet.
- The washing machine and dryer are located in a common area of the building.

Transportation
The Tirso de Molina metro station is just minutes away and has service for Line 1. There are also several other metro stations within a short walk that include La Latina (Line 5), Lavapiés (Line 3), and Antón Martín (Line 1). Sol metro station is less than a 10 minute walk from the flat and includes service for trains C-3 and C-4 and metro lines 1, 2 and 3. There is also access to bus lines: 17, 18, 23, 31, 35, 50 65, M1 and N26.
