This 1-bedroom apartment is cozy and compact, and also very cute. It’s perfect for one or two people. The kitchen is rather snug, but it’s fully equipped and tucked away in its own room. The bedroom is an ideal spot to put your feet up after a full day of exploring, working or going to school. It’s furnished with a wardrobe, double bed and night table, and has a good-sized window. The main living area also gets ample light. It’s furnished with a sofa, coffee table and a flat screen TV. The bathroom is very spacious. You’ll find the washing machine in this space. There is also a very large tub where you can relax with a glass of wine, and even candles for an extra dose of pleasure!
Senamiestis happens to be the largest Medieval old town in Northern Europe. Walking through the streets is practically like walking through time. There is a certain kind of magic in the air when you live 5 minutes away from a Franciscan Abbey and 10 minutes from the 16th century Gates of Dawn. Don’t worry, your new neighborhood has plenty in the way of modern conveniences too! You can catch a movie at Forum Cinemas Vingis, which is a 24-minute walk away. The Lithuanian National Drama Theater is 19 minutes away. And within a 5-minute walk from your door is a grocery store, Italian restaurant, and even a gastro pub!
What we liked the most
- The apartment isn’t huge, but it has a comfy atmosphere and a big bathtub. You’ll have to bring your own bubbles, though!
- You’re living in one of the largest Medieval old towns in Europe. You can’t beat that!
- You are within walking distance from parks, museums and famous tourist sites.
- The grocery store is around the corner, and so are a few terrific restaurants.
