This residence hall is a fantastic opportunity for those who prefer to live in a social atmosphere with a common kitchen, living and laundry area. The kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of space for everybody to cook, with a large counter top and lots of storage, fully stocked with pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. In the same space as the kitchen there is also a shared living area with sofas and a large flat-screen television, as well as games, ensuring you'll always be entertained.

The residence is in a complex of building situated around a beautiful, tranquil Japanese style garden. It is in the area of Monplaisir, on the border between arrondissements 3 and 8, a well connected area, close to plenty of universities as well metro stations, providing easy access to the city centre and other parts of Lyon. Shopping in the area is convenient, too, with Avenue des Frères Lumière a couple of minute's walk away. Here you will find all the shopping you need, including grocery stores, such as a Carrefour Drive and a Biocoop, along with several cafes and restaurants.

Studio 1 – "Fourvière"

      Fourvière has a floor area of 22 m². This is a very bright room, with a huge window, under which the bed is situated. Opposite the bed is the wall-mounted flat.screen TV, with some shelving beneath, so you can have a games console or media player attached. At the far end of the room as you enter is the desk, flanked by 2 comfortable faux-leather armchairs, with a LAN access point behind the desk. Above, you will find shelving with scented decorations.

      From the window you will have a beautiful view of the Japanese gardens. The room is decorated in a calm white, with splashes of bright colour around the shelving, and the bed. On the walls are framed photos of movie stars, in homage to the Lumière brothers, pioneers of cinema technology. By the bed is a full length mirror.

      As well, you will have your own private bathroom, which is spacious, and includes storage for all of your products and towels. There is a washbasin, with a shelf and mirror above it, plus the toilet, and a roomy shower. There is also a heated towel rail, for those chilly winter mornings.
