This affordable 5 bedroom apartment with all utilities included is located in the Madrid city center and is ideal for students. Just 4 minutes walking from Puerta del Sol, it gives tenants access to all that Madrid has to offer. Calle del Principe is a typical Madrid street, full of shops, restaurants, beautiful architecture, and sunny plazas. Despite its central location, this interior apartment is very quiet. Each bedroom offers a private place to rest and study, while the common area has an open floor plan that is great for entertaining or dinners with friends. Aside from the 2 shared bathrooms, there is also a small washroom with a toilet. Other amenities include an equipped kitchen, heating, A/C, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is roughly 10 minutes walking to the Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor, La Latina, the Prado, and the Plaza de Cibeles. In other words, it does not get any more central than this.
- The combination living and kitchen area is large and has plenty of seating, making it a comfortable shared space.
- The small extra washroom makes sharing bathrooms easier, and means that the shared bathrooms can remain private when tenants have guests over.
- Each room has its own heater.
- All utilities are included in the rent.
Things to keep in mind
- The apartment is interior, however all of the rooms have windows onto a sunny patio that let in a lot of light.
- While the bedrooms are a bit small, each has a desk and large wardrobe, and the living area is spacious.

Both the Sol and Sevilla metro stops are a 5 minute walk away, connecting you to the red, yellow, and blue lines. Just down the street is a stop for the M1 bus line, leading to Tirso de Molina, Lavapiés, and Embajadores. Almost all major sites are within walking distance, including Puerta del Sol, shopping along the Gran Vía and Chueca, bars in La Latina, and the museums along the Prado.
